This policy explains what personal information Pedrollo Pumps Private Limited (“Pedrollo”, “we”) collects when you request or receive pump service from us, how we use it, and how long we keep it. It covers our service management system at crm.pedrollo.in and our customer communication over WhatsApp.

Information collected automatically
- Service ticket history — status changes, parts used, visit times and resolution notes.
- Records of messages and notifications we send you, so we can show what was sent and when.
- Location of our own field technicians during working hours, from the technician mobile app. This applies to Pedrollo staff only — we do not track customer location.
2. WhatsApp messaging
We use the WhatsApp Business Platform, provided by Meta, to send and receive service messages. When you message our WhatsApp business number, the content of that conversation is stored in our system and linked to your customer record so our team can see the history of your request.
We message you about service tickets you have raised, technician visits, and service follow-ups. We do not sell your number, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
Your use of WhatsApp itself is governed by Meta’s own privacy policy, which we do not control.
3. How we use your information
- To create, assign, track and close service tickets.
- To route the right technician, with the right spare parts, to your location.
- To keep you updated on the progress of your request.
- To verify warranty entitlement and prepare service documentation.
- To review our own service performance and response times.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
4. Who we share it with
- Our technicians and service staff — only the details needed to complete your job.
- Authorised service centres and dealers — where your pump is sent to them for repair, limited to what is needed for that repair.
- Meta Platforms — as the operator of the WhatsApp Business Platform used to deliver our messages.
- Government or legal authorities — where we are legally required to disclose information.
5. How long we keep it

6. How we protect it
The system is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections. Access requires an individual account, and staff see only what their role permits — for example, sales staff see only their own tagged visits, and external service centres see only the jobs routed to them. Passwords are stored using one-way hashing and cannot be read by our staff. Backups are held on restricted-access storage.
7. Your rights
You may ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong or out of date;
- delete your information, where we are not required to keep it;
- stop sending you WhatsApp messages.
Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable period. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
8. Children
Our service is provided to pump owners and businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our service changes. The revision date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
